Does anybody remember when black people couldn’t vote or own land? Women couldn’t either? If this land is so “equal”, then why can’t homosexuals marry?
Literally, all you’re saying to me is that two people who love each, who are of the same gender, cannot get married because of your religion? Because you don’t think its right? It’s not like if the U.S legalized gay marriage that everybody’s going to magically turn into one!
You know what I think is wrong? People from the West Borrow Baptist Church protesting at funerals of DEAD SOLIDERS. You don’t see me wanting the right for freedom of speech or freedom to assemble to be changed.
All I’m saying is, if one kind of couple can marry, why can’t all? It’s a legal document to me, nothing more. They, in their own right as Americans, don’t have to get married.
I once knew a homosexual couple who were together for twelve years, before they got married. Not even in their own state. In the state they grew up in, where they met eachother, where they LIVED together, but not where they married.
The defintion of the word gay is happy.
Is that what I should call the right people are denying homosexuals?
This is my rant. I am a thirteen year old girl whom, in my opinion (as you can see- I am quite opinionated), is well rounded and know what I believe in.
Equal Rights = Human Rights
